Abdel Rahim Kamal: The Sophisticated Scriptwriter and Novelist

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi saw that “the issue of awareness in its comprehensive concept is the most important issue” that can be addressed through art, and seemed more specific in talking about “awareness of religion,” saying: “We all have to know that we are supposed to reformulate our understanding of the belief that we walked upon.”

The name of the Egyptian writer and scriptwriter, Abdel Rahim Kamal, topped the search engines, after the Egyptian president praised his writings on television drama.

President El-Sisi called Azza Mostafa, presenter of the “Tahrir Hall” program, on the “Sada El Balad” channel, during which he was keen to send a message to the guest, writer and scriptwriter Abdel Rahim Kamal.

The President said, addressing the guest of the episode, Kamal: “You are a wonderful role model who speaks in a way that reflects a volume of knowledge and sophistication of thought and culture, and I tell you: Prepare what you want and I am with you. You are doing a job that mobilizes all the talent as quickly as possible to build true awareness.”
